The difference to me was like night and day. But I was alone in that thought as the other three players preferred the Fuji. On first reaction he said the same thing we kept hearing more of throughout the day.
He compared it to his normal driver and said it was yards longer. In all fairness to his TaylorMade, the rest of us could not see any difference. Next up was a 4 handicap that hits the ball so far it should be illegal. He normally plays a Callaway FT-5 with an X shaft. He loved the look and feel of the club but said it would not be fair to review it based on the shaft not being stiff enough for his swing.
To the rest at the range, they looked great. Long with a slight draw. The third person to tee it up is about an 18 handicap. He really enjoyed the feel of this club and said it was on the top of his list to look at for new purchases. I must say watching all of them hit the club had me foaming at the mouth. So last but not least I decide to give it a try. As mentioned earlier in the review I have been playing a Ping G10 and have had no real problems with it.
As soon as I put this driver in my hand, there was a different feeling. The impact felt more solid. And the results were longer tee shots. I was really hitting the ball well and it was flying out there.
So we wrapped it up for the day and I could not wait to take this thing to the course the next day. The others were clamoring for more. So the next morning I am excited to tee it up with this new club. I hit the first two balls right into the water with a big slice. Of course like any golfer I blame the club and go on to finish the hole and move past it. So everyone is waiting to see what I do next since I still have the Ping G10 in my bag.
What did I do? I went on to hit 14 of the final 15 fairways and my average drive distance was yards or so farther than my Ping. When I did miss, which was only once, it was not by much. So after the round I figured it had to be something in my swing and not the club. I am sorry that you have had to resort to such cheap tat and can only hope that at some point in the future you fall on better financial times.
Hi Generally Nickent is a cheap brand for players who have hit hard times and cant afford a decent club for decent read Ping, Callaway or Titleist. All the best. Yes Nickent went out of business although has been reborn after being bought by Dick's , in part due to their commitment to a then cutting-edge idea of an adjustable driver. I switched from an r9 to this driver a couple months ago.
As long as my driver swing is ok that day this club plays very nice. I currently have the With my slower swing I prefer this driver over the r9 Maybe he has a family and a mortage!
Not all members of this forum live in their parents basement!!! Nickent made a well designed and quality manufactured golf club. I am sure Taylor Made is upset you didn't include them in your list of quality golf clubs. This is just a clueless post Couldn't disagree more. I have an Evolver coming from Rock Bottom Golf. It has the Cyg hosel. I was planning to use a shaft that doesn't get tipped. If I decide to go with the tipping, I guess I would need to go with an A flex before the tipping to get the installed shaft to regular.
I have been playing the Nickent Evolver for the last year and love it. I have 3 shafts, all with the CYG hosel which gives me lots of options. As far as cost. I have about three other drivers that cost me a hell of a lot more than the Nickent but that don't make them any better.
Its not quite cc, it adjustable, nice classic look, and strikes a good balance between performance and forgiveness. One of my favorite clubs. This days one can put a "brick" on the end of a good shaft and there be a very little distance, dispersion difference between the bricked and a non bricked driver.
I do not play Nickent driver Razr but I do believe it can beat Titleist with a made for a standard shaft. I'll be sure to post my thoughts here after I try it out days shipping. I retired in at the age of 52 and play golf everyday. And play with a Nickent driver. Yeah, I'll take my miserable life over most. Played this morning and had my best round of the year.
I hit a natural draw sometimes a wicked hook and this club enabled me to hit the draw I like. Sweet spot to sweet spot I think I gained yards over my old one. Miss-hits went about the same distance. Overall very pleased. Shooting a 69 with a 7. My team won, but not much bet. Funny, I ordered the same combination.
I ordered the stiff Pershing. It was supposed to come with a cyg hosel and wrench. I called them on the wrench, and just received it yesterday. Unfortunately, while undoing the head with the wrench, I noticed that the hosel is not a cyg hosel with the various adjustments.
Two XW weight cartridges add sixteen grams of weight and help to deliver a powerful punch for maximum distance. Website: www.
